| WELCOME TO KAUGMAON | Feb 18, 2008 |
The Kaugmaon Center for Children’s Concerns Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock; non-profit organization established in 1984 by child-friendly advocates – Marynoll Missionary, academe and health professionals. The name kaugmaon is coined from a Cebuano term meaning building future. Consistent with its birth name, Kaugmaon commits to facilitate and provide better means and opportunities for the children and young people.
Kaugmaon holistically embraces the vision and mission that recognizes the role of children and young people in social transformation. It squarely believes that development process is a collective responsibility of all social players – children/young people, parents, community, and other social units, and thus marks Kaugmaon for its decade of existence.
Kaugmaon aims to help young people to have a better future through conducting seminars and awareness programs. They also give scholarships for children who cannot afford to go to school. Through YOUR help we can help build a brighter future for these children.
